Monkey See...Monkey Do

"Grandpa, you shriveled up Ilocano knucklehead,
what does it mean, 'Monkey see, monkey do'?"
"Well, my sweet little beanie baby, 'Monkey see,
Monkey do' means you imitate what you see other
people do. Like if you see your mommy and daddy
eating nicely, then you're gonna eat nicely. If you
see your Grandma and Grandpa saying 'please'
and 'thank you' then you're gonna say it too. And
if you see your Grandma and Grandpa 'clean'
themselves in a certain way in a room full of people
then I guess......Monkey see Monkey do............
